Wheeler was staked to a five-run lead after the first inning and cruised, with the only Texas run against him coming on a solo home run by Robinson Chirinos in the top of the fourth. Wheeler struck out four and walked two. He has a 4.07 ERA, 1.38 WHIP, and 99/44 K/BB ratio in 101 2/3 frames this season.
