Fernando Rodney slammed the door on the White Sox in the 14th inning on Saturday, retiring all three hitters he faced to preserve a one-run victory. Rodney collected his 25th save of the season for his efforts. After a rough first month of the season, he has really settled in as the Mariners closer, compiling a 2.12 ERA, 1.18 WHIP and 39/11 K/BB ratio over 34 innings while making good on 25 of his 27 save opportunities.
