Drew Smyly was hit hard in Friday's loss to the Rays, allowing five runs on seven hits over 5 1/3 innings of work. Smyly punched out three while walking one on the evening. A pair of RBI doubles by Ben Zobrist and a solo homer by Evan Longoria provided most of the offense against him. He'll look to get back on track when he carries a 3.89 ERA and 1.37 WHIP into Thursday's tilt against the Royals in Kansas City.
