Carlos Quentin went 2-for-4 with a double and two-run homer in Tuesday's win over the Reds. Quentin returned to the Padres' lineup Monday after missing three starts with a sore shoulder. This was his first round-tripper since June 16. It's been a slog for the veteran, who is slashing just .185/.287/.359 in 35 games. San Diego needs Quentin to get going. Seth Smith can't keep doing it alone.
