Jeff Samardzija was shelled for six runs -- five earned -- over five innings Saturday by the Nationals. Samardzija struck out six and didn't walk a batter, but the Nats tagged him for seven hits -- including two home runs. The right-hander is now 2-7 on the season with a 2.83 ERA, 1.20 WHIP, and 103/31 K/BB ratio in 108 innings. He will pitch at Washington next.
