Justin Masterson was chased out of Tuesday's against the Diamondbacks after giving up five runs over four innings. Masterson was looking to build upon Thursday's strong start (7 IP, 1 ER) but instead penned another chapter of a disappointing 2014 campaign. He walked four and gave up seven hits in tonight's no-decision to push his ERA to 5.03. Masterson entered this evening with a 3.32 ERA in June, but the tall right-hander isn't showing enough consistency yet to be trustworthy in mixed leagues. Masterson gets the ball in Seattle on Sunday.
