Shelby Miller fell to 7-6, allowing four runs over 6 2/3 innings in Thursday's loss to the Phillies. Ryan Howard did most of the damage, singling in a run in the fourth inning and hitting an opposite-field two-run homer in the sixth. Overall, Miller allowed seven hits, walked three, and struck out four. The right-hander will take a 3.56 ERA, a 1.32 WHIP, and a 64/41 K/BB ratio into his next start on the road against the Rockies.
