X-rays taken Wednesday on the left hand of Brett Lawrie turned up negative. Lawrie was hit by a pitch on his left hand in the fourth inning of Wednesday's game against the Yankees. He should be considered day-to-day. Steve Tolleson replaced him at the hot corner in the top of the fifth.
