Dodgers manager Don Mattingly said Sunday that Carl Crawford has hit a plateau in his recovery from a left ankle sprain. Crawford hasn't suffered a setback, but he wasn't able to hit Saturday and it doesn't sound like his return is imminent. "We first talked about his ankle and how good he was doing, and we thought he might be able to play in Cincinnati [last week]," said Mattingly. "And it seems like Carl has kind of hit that plateau where he's just kind of gotten stuck." Matt Kemp is now the regular left fielder, so Crawford will return as a part-time player whenever he gets back to full health.
