John Danks pitched seven innings of two-run ball in a victory over the Tigers on Wednesday. Since falling to 3-4 with a 5.64 ERA on May 18, Danks has allowed five runs over 29 1/3 innings in his last four starts, lowering his ERA to 4.17. We'd be more optimistic if he hadn't struck out a modest 17 during the span. It's a given that Danks is going to start allowing more homers again. He can be a decent enough starter for the White Sox, but he's not a mixed-league kind of fantasy pitchers these days.
