Yankees designated LHP Wade LeBlanc for assignment. LeBlanc got the boot to clear a 40-man roster spot for fellow left-hander David Huff, who was acquired off waivers from the Giants on Wednesday. LeBlanc allowed two earned runs in his lone one-inning appearance with the Yankees, but he may draw interest on waivers.
