Kevin Correia improved to 3-7, shutting out the Blue Jays over six innings as the Twins won 4-0 on Tuesday. This was about as good as Correia has looked all season. The right-hander entered the match with a 6.11 ERA and was up against the bombardiers that make up the Jays' lineup, but escaped unscathed. He allowed six hits, walked one, and struck out one. In the process, he lowered his ERA to 5.60 and now has a 38/15 K/BB ratio in 72 1/3 innings. He'll face the Red Sox on the road next.
