Marlins manager Mike Redmond said after Sunday's game that Henderson Alvarez checked out fine and should be able to make his next scheduled start. Alvarez was pulled from Sunday's outing against the Cubs after he landed awkwardly while covering first base on a ground ball to Garrett Jones. It appears as though he was able to avoid any serious injury though, and fantasy owners should be able to safely plug him into lineups for next week.
