Royals manager Ned Yost said Tuesday that he has no plans to reduce Norichika Aoki's playing time. "I'll give (Jarrod Dyson) a day here or there," Yost said. "But, to answer your question, no." Aoki has been a disappointment from the leadoff spot, batting just .259/.321/.313 with no homers and 12 RBI. He also hasn't played up to his reputation defensively, as the Royals have been subbing him out late in games recently. However, it appears Aoki's job is safe for now.
