Tyler Flowers banged out a solo homer in Tuesday's 4-1 win against the Dodgers. It was his only hit of the game. He'd gone 1-for-19 in his last six games, slashing his average from .312 to .281. Coming off batting averages of .209, .213, and .195 over the past three years, and sporting a high BABIP, it was only a matter of time before Flower's batting average plummeted back to earth. That process has started, so owners will have to hope that his power comes along, allowing him to finish safely over last season's career-high homer output of 10 (he has two over his past three games and five total). Flowers is slashing .282/.339/.405 and is on pace for 14 homers and 46 RBI.
