Chris Sale was excellent on Sunday in the White Sox's 4-1 win over San Diego, limiting the Padres to one run on two hits (no walks) in the complete-game masterpiece. Sale, who also struck out nine batters, improved his record to 5-0. The only blemish for Sale on the day was a solo home run allowed to Chase Headley in the fifth inning. Ever since he came off the disabled list on May 22 against the Yankees, Sale has been locked in. He's tallied 18 innings over his last three starts while giving up just one run on three hits and one walk. He now has a microscopic 1.59 ERA and 0.60 WHIP on the year.
