Sergio Santos (forearm) recently suffered a setback in his recovery. Santos had been progressing in his recovery from forearm soreness before he felt something in the forearm while throwing long toss from approximately 120 feet. "I wouldn't call it a big, big setback," Santos said. "When I got out to 110, stepping on it a little bit, didn't hurt, wasn't painful, just backing off for a day, resting and then throwing again. Good enough distance, playing catch, throwing. It felt fine, the ball was coming out good." He'll be shut down for a period of time before beginning to ramp up his throwing again. The setback probably costs Santos another few weeks at least, making late June look like the earliest he might be back.
