Joe Wieland (elbow) was scheduled to play catch from 105 feet on Wednesday. Wieland has been playing catch from 75 feet in recent weeks, so he's continuing to progress. He said he hopes to start a rehab stint by mid-June. A return to the Padres shortly after the All-Star break seems reasonable, given that timetable.
