Aaron Hill was removed from the second game of Sunday's doubleheader against the Mets for precautionary reasons after fouling a ball off his left ankle. The injury isn't believed to be serious, but the Diamondbacks didn't want to take any chances with him. Cliff Pennington took his place at second base.
