Jon Jay finished 3-for-4 with two RBI in the Cardinals' victory over the Reds on Saturday. Jay was a late addition to the lineup in place of Peter Bourjos, who had to be scratched just before first pitch with a stomach virus. Jay hit RBI singles in the sixth and eighth innings, and may have earned himself a start in Sunday's series finale against Reds right-hander Mike Leake. Bourjos has been getting a majority of the playing time lately.
