Reds transferred RHP Mat Latos from the 15-day disabled list to the 60-day disabled list. It's a procedural move to clear a 40-man roster spot for Jeff Francis, who will make a spot start in Thursday's doubleheader against the Padres. Latos (elbow) is currently throwing bullpen sessions and still at least three weeks away from returning to the Reds' rotation.
