Russell Martin (hamstring) has been given a platelet-rich plasma injection. He was given the injection after an MRI confirmed that he had a strained left hamstring. Martin has been bothered by the injury since spring training and aggravated it last week. He said it bothers him the most when he check-swings. The catcher will shoot to return when first eligible, but it's not a given.
