Michael Cuddyer left Monday's game against the Padres in the fifth inning after he slammed into the right field wall chasing Alexi Amarista's RBI triple. Amarista's blast just missed clearing the wall, and it crossed up the veteran Cuddyer, who was backed up on his heals reaching when the entirety of his weight smashed back-first into the wall. Trainers were looking at his right elbow. We don't yet have an update on his status. Brandon Barnes entered the game to replace the 2013 NL batting title winner.
