Yankees placed C Francisco Cervelli on the 15-day disabled list with a Grade 2 right hamstring strain. An MRI taken Monday revealed the Grade 2 hamstring strain, which could sideline Cervelli for over a month. Austin Romine will fill in as Brian McCann's backup.
