Doug Fister (lat) threw a successful 35-pitch bullpen session Friday. He didn't throw breaking balls, but Fister felt good while throwing fastballs and changeups. He'll play catch again next before then throwing another bullpen session. He seems likely to be ready for a rehab assignment before the end of the month, with a return in early May looking likely if he can avoid setbacks.
