Gerardo Parra finished a double short of the cycle on Wednesday, going 3-for-5 with two RBI and three runs scored in a 7-3 victory over the Giants. It was Parra's first triple and homer of the season, respectively, but fortunately not his first single. The 26-year-old Venezuelan is slashing .273/.298/.432 with seven RBI through 44 at-bats. He's also scored seven runs, and will cross the plate plenty more this season as Arizona's primary leadoff hitter.
