Miguel Gonzalez shook off two homers to hold the Yankees to three runs in six innings on Wednesday. The homers came in the second inning. Carlos Beltran hit one way out, and Kelly Johnson followed with another three batters later, though that one probably wouldn't have left any park apart from Yankee Stadium. It was a bounce-back outing for Gonzalez after he was hit hard by the Tigers last week. He's still a good bet to be a useful AL-only pitcher.
