Scott Kazmir wasn't too sharp but put up a quality start anyway Monday, allowing three runs over six frames in an 8-3 win over the Twins. Kazmir struck out five but walked four and gave up six hits, needing 101 pitches to get through six frames. The left-hander was nursing some minor back stiffness in the game, but he made it through the outing alright and is expected to be fine for this weekend's start in Seattle. Kazmir has struck out 10 and allowed just the three runs over his first two outings.
