Bronson Arroyo lasted just 4 1/3 innings in his Diamondbacks' debut Thursday, allowing two runs on five hits and two walks. Arroyo was at 82 pitches, and after a spring training shortened by a back injury, manager Kirk Gibson decided that was enough. The right-hander lasted less than 4 1/3 frames just three times in 32 starts for the Reds last season. He'll try to bounce back next week in a rematch versus the Giants.
