Brandon Belt had his second big game in two days in Tuesday's 5-4 setback against Arizona, going 2-for-4 with a three-run homer. Belt collected three hits -- including a solo homer -- and three runs scored in Monday's Opening Day victory over the Diamondbacks. He batted No. 2 on Monday, but slid down to sixth this evening against Wade Miley. The 25-year-old figures to continue batting lower in the lineup against southpaws going forward. He's only nine at-bats in to the season, obviously, but his current .556/.556/1.222 slash line sure looks pretty.
