Hisashi Iwakuma (finger) was cleared by doctors on Friday to resume a normal throwing program. The right-hander will move forward without restrictions, so now it's just a matter of getting him arm game-ready. That is still likely a month-long process, but at least he's moving in the right direction. Iwakuma should be back with the Mariners sometime around May 1.
