Nationals optioned OF Tyler Moore, LHP Xavier Cedeno, and RHP Ryan Mattheus to Triple-A Syracuse. No real surprises among this round of cuts. Moore did not hit well this spring and registered a weak .607 OPS in 178 plate appearances last summer for the Nationals. He'll be organizational depth this season. Cedeno and Mattheus didn't make the grade for the Opening Day bullpen but should get action this year in the bigs.
