Jhoulys Chacin (shoulder) threw off the slope of the mound on Thursday. It's the first time he's done so since being diagnosed with a strained right shoulder early on in spring training. Chacin is hoping to throw a bullpen session in the next few days. The right-hander isn't expected to re-join the Rockies' rotation until early May.
