Dylan Axelrod held the Padres scoreless in three innings during Wednesday's 8-0 loss. Axelrod allowed two hits and a walk while striking out three. Axelrod was non-tendered in December and then was re-signed to a minor league deal in January, so he will serve as organizational depth.
