Jake Arrieta (shoulder) threw off a mound Tuesday for the first time this spring. It was only 10 pitches, but Arrieta said that it felt "awesome." It's unlikely he'll have enough time to be ready for the start of the season at this point, but he should join the Cubs' rotation at some point in April if there aren't any setbacks.
