A.J. Pierzynski (ankle) won't return to action until at least Friday. Pierzynski rolled his left ankle during Monday's game. It's not a big concern, but the Red Sox can afford to play it safe with him this early in camp. "He's got a little bit of swelling in there today but this is a couple, three days maybe before he's back behind the plate," said manager John Farrell. "The one thing is it's twice in camp that it's happened so we have to be a little more cautious right now."
