Marlins signed RHP Carlos Marmol to a one-year, $1.25 million contract. The one-year pact was agreed to last week and finalized Tuesday after Marmol passed his pre-signing physical. The 31-year-old posted an ugly 4.41 ERA and 59/40 K/BB ratio in 49 innings last season between the Dodgers and Cubs. He'll likely pitch in middle relief for Miami.
