Andrew Cashner won his arbitration hearing against the Padres and was awarded a $2.4 million salary for 2014. The Padres had submitted a figure of $2.275 million, so even if the two sides had met in the middle, there wouldn't have been a significant difference. The hard-throwing 27-year-old will look to build off an excellent 2013 season and represents a very solid option in the middle rounds of fantasy drafts.
