Indians signed 1B/OF Bryan LaHair to a minor league contract with an invitation to spring training. LaHair, a former All-Star in 2012, was released by the Fukuoka Softbank Hawks of Japan's Pacific League last month after he hit just .230/.236/.428 during his lone season in Nippon Professional Baseball. The 31-year-old will compete for a bench job during spring training.
