FOX Sports' Ken Rosenthal reports that the Cubs have come to terms on a contract with Jason Hammel. The particulars of the deal aren't yet available, but it will be made official once he passes a physical. Hammel posted a disappointing 4.97 ERA over 139 1/3 innings last season but could be a sneaky addition if he can rebound to his 2012 form, when he held a 3.43 mark while striking out nearly a batter per inning.
