Rays acquired INF Logan Forsythe, RHPs Brad Boxberger, Matt Andriese, Matt Lollis and INF Maxx Tissenbaum from the Padres for LHP Alex Torres and RHP Jesse Hahn. Forsythe batted just .214/.281/.332 over 75 games last season while battling plantar fasciitis, but he showed some potential in 2012 and can play all over the diamond. The 27-year-old is a bit redundant with Sean Rodriguez around, but the Rays clearly think he can play an important role.
