CBS Sports' Jon Heyman reports that the Twins have had talks with Jason Kubel about bringing him back. Kubel, of course, was drafted by the Twins and spent his first seven big league seasons in Minnesota. He slugged 30 homers for the D'Backs in 2012 but fell off the map last season, batting just .216/.293/.317 with five homers over 97 contests. Kubel wouldn't necessarily have a starting job in Minnesota, but the Twins should be able to find plenty of at-bats for him between on the outfield corners and at DH.
