Jeff Francoeur recently underwent LASIK surgery and is hoping to join a team as a backup outfielder. Francoeur was released by the Giants in August and failed to attract interest from other clubs, so he'll likely have to settle for a minor league contract this winter. The 29-year-old has hit .226/.272/.354 in 859 plate appearances since the start of the 2012 season.
