Chris Cotillo of MLBDailyDish.com hears that the Astros could be close to signing Adron Chambers. It presumably would be a minor league deal. Chambers was outrighted off the Cardinals' 40-man roster earlier this month, and it's no surprise he's drawing interest from the Astros with the Jeff Luhnow connection. The 27-year-old has hit .216/.289/.295 over 99 plate appearances with St. Louis over parts of the last three seasons.
