Joel Sherman of the New York Post reports the Rockies aren't willing to top $20 million for Carlos Ruiz. Ruiz's agent is telling teams that the veteran catcher has a two-year, $20 million offer on the table. If that's true, he would be wise to accept it. The Rockies are open to a two-year deal with Ruiz that includes an option for 2016, according to Sherman, but the guaranteed money will remain under the $20 million plateau. The Phillies, Blue Jays and Red Sox are also thought to have interest in Ruiz.
