Andrelton Simmons has been named the 2013 National League Gold Glove winner at shortstop. Simmons was one of the slam-dunk winners, as he had one of the best defensive years ever at shortstop. It's the first in what figures to be a bunch of Gold Gloves for the youngster. He beat out the Rockies' Troy Tulowitzki and the Nationals' Ian Desmond for the award.
