Dan Straily surrendered three runs -- one earned -- in 6 2/3 innings Wednesday in a loss to the Angels. The defeat ends a four-game winning streak for Straily, but thanks to the runs being unearned, his ERA dropped to 3.96. That's the first time he's been under 4.00 since April. Straily is unlikely to be included in Oakland's playoff rotation. It's unclear whether they'll make room for him in the pen or not.
