Sergio Romo sustained his fifth blown save of the season and took the loss against the Mets on Wednesday. Giants manager Bruce Bochy tried to avoid using Romo after he pitched Tuesday, but after Santiago Casilla was unable to close it out Romo was called on for a second straight day. He responded by allowing three hits and a walk, capped by a Josh Satin walk-off two-run single. Romo has still had a strong season and shouldn't be downgraded now for a poor outing.
