Logan Forsythe connected a pinch-hit go-ahead RBI single in the eighth inning to lead the Padres to a 4-3 win over the Braves on Friday. After Chase Headley hit a game-tying solo homer off Jordan Walden, Forsythe knocked in the go-ahead run with a single to right-center off Scott Downs. The 26-year-old has been dealing with a recurrence of plantar fasciitis in his foot, so he is unlikely to make a major impact over the final couple of weeks of the season.
