Astros transferred RHP Edgar Gonzalez to the 60-day disabled list. Houston needed to make room on the 40-man roster after acquiring catcher Matt Pagnozzi from Braves in exchange for cash. Gonzalez has been shelved since late May with a right shoulder strain.
